Meet Introduces New UI
Google has optimized the user interface so that it is clear and easy to use even on a large screen. Since black provides the most contrast and the least amount of visual fatigue, it was chosen as the backdrop colour. Google Meet's new user interface (UI) supports Remote, allowing you to access and modify any and all of the app's settings and functions from any device. Simplified by Google, it retains its strength and individuality while requiring fewer parts.
Google Meet Calling
Just launch the app and sign in with your Google account to see all of your contacts in one convenient place. The video call process is as simple as tapping the Call button on the remote. At most, a video call may accommodate four people at once. The TV remote may also be used to end the conversation, turn on or off the camera, enable or disable the microphone, and access the visual effects menu.
Compatibility
Google Meet has not been made available on any Samsung TVs up to this point since they do not have a camera. When making video calls, having a webcam is essential. We hope Samsung will soon join the times and include cameras in its TVs.
Of course, you can always connect an external webcam using a cable, which will allow you greater flexibility when making video calls using Google Meet, as you can watch the conversations on a larger screen.
Availability
Google has attempted numerous different alternatives in the past, including GTalk, Google Allo, Google Duo, and Google Hangouts; however, none of them has been successful.
Google Meet's rapid rise to prominence may be attributed to its no-cost availability and intuitive user interface. The updated version of this software may be found on the Tizen App store built into all Samsung smart TVs.
