Design
The Nothing Ear (2) resembles the same transparent appearance with black accents as its predecessor. A few adjustments have been made to Ear (2)’s design, notably to the case. The new case is smaller in all respects, but you will not notice the difference until you’re holding it next to the previous one. The new case’s edges are more angular. The huge central indentation that held the earbuds in place has been reduced in size, although the lid still retains a similar appearance.

Sound Quality
Support for the LHDC 5.0 audio codec, which lets users stream high-resolution audio, is one of the significant improvements in the Nothing Ear (2). The earbuds also have a brand-new personalised sound profile feature that, after a brief hearing test in the Nothing X companion app, enables users to adjust the earbuds to their own hearing needs. With this app, users can further customise the equaliser settings to their tastes. The earbuds also contain redesigned diaphragm units composed of graphene and polyurethane that have a new 11.6mm driver size and improve sound quality. Additionally, the voice pick-up function has undergone revisions with greater wind-proofing that will improve user voice isolation in noisy circumstances.
Battery & Features
The Nothing Ear (2)’s battery life can last up to 36 hours when used with the charging case. The case may be charged at 2.5W wirelessly or via USB-C.
Adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC), which can filter out unpleasant noises based on the user’s unique ear profile and environment, is a new feature of the Ear (2). Dual pairing is another highlighted feature of the Ear (2), allowing users to pair the earphones with two devices at once. The earbuds support Microsoft Swift Pair for Windows users and Google Quick Pair for Android users. The earbuds also have an IP54 rating, while the storage case has IP55 protection against splashes of water and dust.
