Features
Sony’s NW-Edge-AI A306’s and DSEE Ultimate (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) technologies, which are made to upscale compressed digital audio files in real-time, offer a far richer and more dynamic experience during playback. Along with the 360 Reality Audio function, which enables the player to immerse you in a 3D soundscape and LDAC, which enables anyone to use a set of the best wireless headphones for hearing high-quality audio without cables, these new tools are added to the Walkman’s current high-res features.
Disadvantages
The biggest drawback where Sony can perform better is that it has limited storage. The Sony NW-A306 offers 32GB of storage space, but after taking into consideration all the software you must install, there will only be about 18GB left over for play. That’s more than enough to accommodate several albums, but people with bigger music collections may discover that they quickly run out of room or need a more dedicated audio player.
Price & Availability
The price of the Sony NW A306 is $425, a little steep, especially for its features, compared to the other MP3 players out there. It is available in all the international markets across Sony’s outlets and through Sony’s official website.
