Design
The webcam can be mounted on the lamp’s moving arm or at the end of the arm to act as a tripod stand for the device. The webcam’s range is increased when it is mounted to the lift arm of the lamp. To draw attention to a piece of paper on the desk, the camera might be turned to point downward.
The Lamp
For more concentrated lighting, the Go Desk Station has a strip of LED lights along an arm that can be turned up or tilted down. It can be used for desk reading or in conjunction with a camera. Three colour temperature options are available on the desk lamp: 3,000K, 4,500K, and 6,500K. The LED light settings support synchronising with the time of day.
The Lenovo Go 4K Pro Webcam with a 30fps frame rate is included with the Lenovo Go Desk Station light. The autofocus and intelligent framing capabilities of the webcam enhance the sharpness of the video output.
Connectivity
A charging hub is located at the bottom of the Lenovo Go Desk Station. It has two USB-A ports, an HDMI port, a 65W USB-C port for laptops, and a 20W USB-C port. On the base, there is a wireless Qi charging pad with a 15W output.
Price & Availability
With a $329 launch price, the Lenovo Go Desk Station will be available in March 2023. The Go Desk Station is more useful and more reasonably priced than its main rival, the Dyson Lightcycle.
