The OPPO Enco Air3 Pro is the first earphone to feature bamboo-fiber diaphragms, which were inspired by an ancient method of creating bamboo paper. The delicate bamboo fibres are meticulously removed, compressed into flakes, and fashioned into a diaphragm that fits within the earphone. The bamboo fibre diaphragm has three key advantages over conventional titanium-plated diaphragms. First, it is 60% lighter, allowing for a quicker reaction to changes in sound. Second, it is 56% more stiff, which makes it less prone to distortion and deformation. The internal damping of the diaphragm is also 63% more elastic, which further reduces noise. The earbuds create a high-fidelity sound that is soft and enticing and easily passes the 40kHz barrier thanks to these advancements, providing an outstanding audio experience.
The OPPO Enco Air3 Pro’s charging cover features a gradient pattern that mimics the organic appearance of clouds in the sky. The earphones and charging case are small and lightweight, making them perfect for use while travelling. In addition, they have an IP55 rating for water and dust protection, making them appropriate for outdoor sports.
Sound
The front sound chamber layout of the OPPO Enco Air3 Pro is optimised, allowing the bamboo fibres to produce natural and clear sounds at high frequencies while a proprietary bass condenser gives low frequencies weight, enhancing the user experience. The OPPO Enco Air3 Pro supports the LDAC protocol for audio transmission, which can send audio at a bit rate of up to 990kbps while maintaining every audio nuance. This enables high-resolution audio transmission on the majority of Android smartphones with HWA gold compliance. Advanced features offered by the OPPO Enco Air3 Pro include OPPO Alive, Golden Sound 2.0, and Enco Master tuning. To offer precise and detailed sound, Golden Sound 2.0 builds a custom model of the user’s ear canal. Intuitive theatre-level surround sound effects are provided by OPPO Alive, and toggling between three preset tunings for different sound types is supported by Enco Master tuning.
Listening Experience
With 49dB adaptive ANC, the OPPO Enco Air3 Pro achieves a milestone in adaptive ANC performance and successfully handles a variety of daily life conditions. Its certification by TÜV Rheinland is a testament to its exceptional performance and capabilities. Transparent Mode, another feature of the earphones, enables users to keep in touch with friends and the outside world without taking the earbuds off. While engaging in activities like commuting, travelling, working, or studying, the Adaptive ANC function automatically shifts to the noise cancellation profile based on the user’s surroundings. Additionally, the OPPO Enco Air3 Pro uses a dual microphone setup along with an AI noise cancellation system to significantly minimise background noise, resulting in calls that sound clear and authentic. Additionally, the wind noise cancellation algorithm successfully reduces wind noise, enabling users to have clear phone conversations and enjoy music even in windy conditions.
