Lenovo collaborates with Marmar Halim and FAD Luxury Fashion Institute

To Bridge The Gap Between Fashion And Technology

The new Lenovo Yoga Book 9i, created in partnership with Marmar Halim, a fashion visionary, and FAD Institute of Luxury Fashion and Style in Dubai, is intended to inspire and empower the next generation of designers to bridge the gap between fashion and technology. As part of a larger initiative called #BeTheCreator, Lenovo gave three outstanding FAD students the amazing opportunity to work with Marmar Halim as a mentor as they created three unique costumes that were inspired by the Lenovo Yoga design philosophy. The clothing was inspired by Lenovo Yoga design philosophy, resulting in a lovely balance of fashion, sustainability, and technology. The developed garments were then unveiled and shown during a small event held in Marmar Halim Studio in the Dubai Design District.

The Event

The event also showcased Lenovo’s Yoga Book 9i, which aims to drive expression and creativity powered by inspiration, performance, sustainability, versatility, and portability. The Yoga Book 9i (13″ Intel), Carbon Neutral Certified, ENERGY STAR® rated, and EPEAT® Gold registered, has plastic-free packaging using paper board cushioning, paper-made system bag, and FSCTM-certified paper wrap. It’s also built with 90% recycled plastic in the power adapter case and 100% recycled aluminium in the top cover.
