Display
The ASUS ROG Strix XG259QN monitor has a 24.5-inch 1080p IPS panel with a 360Hz refresh rate by default, making it ideal for competitive games. You can overclock it to 380Hz, as is already suggested. Along with Adaptive Sync variable refresh rate (VRR) technology, the gaming display also supports AMD FreeSync Premium to alleviate visual tearing issues. Additionally, ASUS has integrated its own “ELMB-sync” technology, a backlight reduction mode intended to lessen motion blur while collaborating with VRR.
Specifications
The ROG Strix XG259QN also has remarkable specs, including a native resolution of 1080p, VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, and a quick 1 ms reaction time (gray-to-gray). The monitor offers DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 connectors, both of which can handle smooth 144 Hz gaming at 1080p, to meet a variety of connectivity requirements. The monitor does not come with built-in speakers or Type-C connectivity, but it does have two USB 3.2 Type-A ports and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
