The StanbyME Go is ideal for viewing movies, playing games and more; its carrying case and built-in battery enable take-anywhere ease, greater screen protection and up to 3 hours of use without the need for an external power source. In addition to the huge display and powerful speakers of the new Lifestyle Screen, the container features secure storage for the product’s simplified remote control and power wire.
Portability
StanbyME Go’s portability is complemented by adaptable adjustability that accommodates a variety of uses and personal preferences. Users can tilt the screen to get the ideal viewing angle, rotate it 90 degrees from landscape to portrait and back, modify its height by up to 18 centimetres, and use it as a table. When in Table mode, the StanbyME Go’s screen folds flat in the lowest portion of the casing, allowing users to play digital board games such as chess and ‘Hidden Catch,’ or use the virtual record player for a delightful, nostalgic listening experience. LG’s Lifestyle Screen conveniently turns on when its case is opened and off when it is closed.
Durability
The StanbyME Go has also demonstrated durability, as evidenced by its successful completion of 11 tests by the US military’s stringent MIL-STD-810G standard. The tests show that the 27LX5 can withstand a wide range of external conditions, including low pressure, high temperature, low temperature, dust and salt spray, as well as accidental drops, vibration, and shock.
Sound & Connectivity
StanbyME Go’s built-in speakers optimise audio output to the front of the screen for optimal viewing immersion. Support for Dolby’s sophisticated video and sound technologies, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos enhance viewing experiences even further.
StanbyME Go, which is powered by LG’s proprietary webOS smart TV platform, allows customers to easily connect to their iOS or Android devices. Furthermore, voice recognition enables hands-free app launch, sound adjustment, and content search – a particularly useful feature for individuals who like to cook, clean, or engage in other duties or activities while watching.
Availability
LG StanbyME Go will be available globally beginning this month in the United States, with plans to expand to important European markets like as Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Germany beginning next month. LG will demonstrate its latest lifestyle TVs, including StanbyME Go StanbyME and the LG OLED Objet Collection Posé, at its exhibition booth (Hall 18, Messe Berlin) during IFA 2023 in Berlin, Germany, from September 1-5.
