Design
The models in this range have a clean, modern design. The product is packaged in a square box with a textured black cover. The manufacturer, Beelink, is clearly labelled on one of the corners. As of right now, you can get this item in only one very dark black colour option. The PCs include a “breathable fabric” cover on top, an aluminium heat sink, and a cooling fan to prevent overheating.
Specs
The Ryzen 5 6600H is a 6-core, 12-thread processor with a 4.5 GHz clock speed and a 6-core Radeon 660M GPU, while the Ryzen 7 6800H is an 8-core, 12-thread chip with a 4.7 GHz clock speed and a 12-core Radeon 680M GPU. The Beelink SER6 and SER6 Pro both come with 16GB or 32GB of DDR5-4800 memory, as well as a 500GB PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 2280 SSD. However, Beelink states that using the SATA 3 interface, the computer can be updated with additional RAM (up to 64GB), a bigger solid-state drive (SSD) (up to 2TB in the M.2 2280 slot), and a larger hard drive (up to 2.5 inches in size). The system supports both WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
Ports
This Mini PC is equipped with two HDMI 2.0 ports, allowing you to connect it to a pair of screens simultaneously. It is a little bit surprising that there is just one Ethernet connection available at a speed of 2.5 Gbps. In addition to that, this provides you with a 3.5 mm audio port for connecting your headphones. For improved communication, there is one USB 2.0 Type-A port as well as three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports. A DC power input supplies electricity to the whole of this system.
Price and Availability
The SER6 model starts at $549, while the SER6 Pro starts at $649 for this series. Add another fifty bucks if you need 32 GB of RAM. These Mini PCs may now be ordered by American consumers but have yet to be sent out to them. The shipment of these compact computing devices will likely arrive in your hands sometime in the month of December.
