The XPS Desktop 8960 from Dell is a new pre-built XPS desktop with excellent gaming capabilities. Although the new Dell desktop is not advertised as a gaming desktop, users can play the majority of the top PC games without any issues on the Dell XPS 8960. It has the necessary hardware, frame rates, and resolutions for such high-performance activities. Let us have a look at the details.

Specifications

For improved hardware performance, the Dell XPS Desktop 8960’s higher configurations enable liquid cooling. There are options for the 13th Gen Intel processors between Intel Core i9-13900K, Intel Core i7, and Intel Core i5 models.

A unique Z690 motherboard, up to 64GB of DDR5 4,800 MT/s memory, and 8TB of storage are included in the PC. Currently, there are no desktop SSD+HDD combos available. The desktop’s 27.1L container, on the other hand, offers two 3.5-inch compartments for added storage.

Graphics

With the Dell XPS Desktop 8960, a variety of graphics cards are available, including the GeForce GTX 1650, GeForce RTX 4080, and RTX 4090. Also, there are just a few AMD alternatives, such as the current-generation RX 7900 XTX and Radeon RX 6500XT up to 6800XT.

Features

Three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A and USB-C ports, a 3.5mm audio connector, and an SD card slot are located at the front of the Dell XPS Desktop 8960. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6E. There are three power options for the desktop: 460W, 750W, and 1,000W. Each purchase also includes a free external DVD drive, keyboard, and mouse.

The Dell XPS Desktop 8960 with 750W power, a Core i7 CPU, 16GB of memory, and 512GB of storage costs $2,849. It is available through the official website of Dell and all the leading retail stores worldwide.
