Design
The Vivo Pad 2 is expected to feature a similar design and size as the original Vivo Pad tablet, with an equally slim and sleek body that is lightweight while also offering solid build quality. The front display is expected to feature at least a 2k display, with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a minimum of 120Hz refresh rate. This is already present in the existing Vivo Pad, so we should at least get this much, if not more. There are chances there will be an AMOLED model on offer as well, but that has not been confirmed yet.
Specifications
As we mentioned above, this new tablet will feature the Dimensity 9000 smartphone processor, which is a big upgrade over the outgoing Snapdragon 870 chipset that is being used in the current model. You will get at least 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, although some of that RAM could be Virtual RAM taken from the memory itself.
The tablet will feature a quad-speaker array, with some sort of sound tuning for proper surround sound output. You will also get a single camera setup on either side, although we do not expect much from tablet hardware in this segment. Everything will be powered by a large fast-charging battery that will be at least 8000mAh in size, if not more. There is little hope for wireless charging, considering the expected price range.
Price & Availability
While there are some rumours spreading about the expected price, there is still nothing confirmed from the company itself, so we will also wait before speculating. The tablet is expected to be launched along with the new Vivo X Fold 2 and the Vivo X Flip, which will be showcased at a media event in April. We will keep you informed of all the news surrounding this much-awaited launch.
