Display
The latest Odyssey Neo G9’s enormous 57-inch panel has a Dual UHD resolution, making it the same size as two 4K monitors placed side by side. It offers a resolution of 7680 x 2160 with a 32:9 aspect ratio when combined with a 1000R curve. The screen has a tiny LED backlighting system, which increases the natural contrast ratio (1,000,000,000:1) and enhances dynamic range. As a result of the huge monitor, it also features a matte coating to reduce annoying reflections.
The display size of the Odyssey OLED G9 is increased to 49 inches while keeping the 1800R curvature and VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification. The Quantum Dot-OLED panel, on the other hand, has a display resolution increase of 5120 x 1440 and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1.
Performance
The Odyssey Neo G9 includes the top-tier GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card from NVIDIA to provide 7680 x 2160 gameplay. It also supports a refresh rate of up to 240Hz and the new DisplayPort 2.1 standard, which offers lossless Display Stream Compression.
With the Samsung Gaming Hub, Samsung also improves the Odyssey OLED G9 by enabling in-monitor streaming access to cloud services like Nvidia GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming without requiring a direct connection to a PC or gaming console. There is a 240Hz maximum refresh rate present in this monitor.
