ViewSonic has announced the newest addition to its gaming monitor range, the XG27QC, which is an intriguing piece of work and might just be the next gaming monitor that you consider. Designed for the next-gen gamer, ViewSonic XG27QC comes equipped with elements to meet the expectations of the modern gamer. Here is our verdict on the latest XG27QC from ViewSonic.

ViewSonic’s new, XG27QC curved 3-side bezel-less design is a high-performance gaming monitor that employs a decent mix of features to provide excellent display size, performance, and resolution. With a 1500R curvature IPS panel, a 27-inch diagonal and a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the XG27QC features a display with a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz and a response time of 3ms (1ms MPRT), The monitor is VESA Display HDR 400 certified and supports AMD Free Sync Premium Pro technology; moreover, we found a great amount of 6 reductions in motion blur while using its PureXP feature.

Designed keeping the contemporary gamer in mind and quite easy on the eyes, the XG270QC features a glossy black finish a singular Display Port 1.4 input, a 3.5mm audio output, two HDMI 2.0 inputs, and a Kensington Lock slot for better security. The XG 27QC sports an adjustable height of between 18.97 and 23.59 inches, weighing only 7.5 kg with the bracket attached. We found the Elite Display Controller software quite stimulating; it connects to your device via a supplied Type-A cable and enables users to adjust the embedded RGB LED lighting. The Tilt feature enables the user to enjoy a glare-less experience while the swivel provides quick movements without moving the entire screen.

We could tell that fantastic attention to detail and research has gone in when designing the monitors as a gamer’s trusted ally, bearing in mind critical gamer insights, the ELITE Design Enhancement (EDE) elevates has all the qualities to make one’s gaming experience better. The EDEs include a bent metal base, ambient RGB lighting, the base phone support arrangement, a built-in mouse anchor, and a solid reinforced headphone.

Colour and Brightness

The 27-inch panel features VESA Adaptive-Sync support with a 178-degree angle of view. It is certified by AMD’s proprietary rating system for monitors, AMD Free Sync Premium Pro, which assures a quick enough refresh rate to support Low Frame Rate Compensation as well as low latency HDR support. When it comes to colour dynamics, Viewsonic offers 16.7 million colours, with a static contrast ratio of 3,000 to 1 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 120 million to 1. The XG270QC elevates the gaming experience with its 550 cd / m2 luminance and wide DCI-P3> 90% colour gamut. For power, it has a usual consumption rate of 55 W and a maximum of up to 56W; however, Viewsonic says in Eco mode, it is optimized for 45W.

Here is what we think about this monitor. The ViewSonic XG27QC ELITE 27-inch gaming monitor has what it takes to be called a powerful gaming monitor. It provides realistic images and an overall engaging gaming experience. An excellent choice if you are looking for a blend of display size, performance, and resolution and yes if a slightly less affordable price tag doesn’t worry you.
