The Galaxy M42 5G is the first smartphone in Samsung’s M series to support a 5G connection. It has a 6.6-inch HD+ display, a dewdrop notch, and a polycarbonate back panel. The HD+ resolution is a huge disadvantage in this price range. With a 5,000 mAh battery and compatibility for just 15W, the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is slower than competitors in the fast-charging arena. In direct sunshine, Samsung’s four cameras functioned well, capturing vibrant colours as planned. Even the extreme close-ups were detailed and crisp. In low light, the image quality was adequate, but Night mode provided a significant boost.
