Pixel 8
On the Google Pixel 8, there are rounded or curved corners and compared to the Pixel 7’s angular corners, this is a makeover. The camera module has also undergone a little adjustment, as well. Also, it is anticipated that the dimensions will be 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9mm, with a maximum thickness of 12mm all around the camera module. This reduces its size relative to the Pixel 7. Currently, the three camera sensors are merged into a single oval-shaped cut-out. There also appears to be a second sensor underneath the camera flash, although its purpose is as of yet unknown. The standard USB Type-C port and speaker grille are present on the bottom. The phone’s power button and volume rockers are on the right, while a SIM tray on the left, possibly for nano SIM cards, is visible. On the back panel, the Google logo is present.
Pixel 8 Pro
The Google Pixel 8 Pro is anticipated to have a 6.52-inch display panel, slightly bigger than the Pixel 7 Pro, with a selfie camera punch-hole cut-out. The measurements are 162 x 676 x 58.7 mm with a 12mm thickness around the camera bump. The future smartphone is depicted with the white colour option. A smaller oval-shaped twin camera arrangement with an LED flash is also included on the back panel.

Notably, the first leak of the Pixel 8 series stated that the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro had the codenames, Shiba and Husky, respectively. The rumour also claimed that the Tensor G3, also known as Zuma, will likely be a new processor for the Pixel 8 series. The Pixel 8 will presumably be powered by Google’s yet-to-be-announced Tensor G3 processor, aside from its dimensions and screen size. 2268 x 1080 pixels could be the resolution of the full-HD+ display. The introduction of Google I/O 2023 is anticipated to occur closer to other specifications being revealed.
