Design
The HUAWEI Watch Buds utilise sophisticated manufacturing techniques, a custom miniaturised precision component set, and a highly coherent structural design to create a novel and practical experience. The lightweight, octagonal cylindrical earbuds have measurements of 21.8 x 10.3 x 10.3 mm. Each earbud weighs around 4g 5. It is simple to wear and may be put back into the watch without any difficulty. The earphones’ cylindrical shape makes for a cozy audio experience. With a single push, the HUAWEI Watch Buds watch cover pops up like a pocket watch, making it the first smartwatch of its kind to be equipped with earphones. The two earbuds are located on the opposite side of the dial. The Watch Buds use an ultra-miniature precision rotating shaft to ensure a high-quality user experience. The shaft has undergone 100,000 opening and closing cycles, a 5 kg stress test, and other rigorous tests, making it robust and durable. It is also designed to open and close smoothly with concave and convex wheels.
Sound Quality
The compact HUAWEI Watch Buds have incredibly powerful sound thanks to a bone conduction sensor and two microphones with audio pickup. The bone conduction sensor reliably detects sounds through reverberations in the user’s bones and absorbs their voice, clearly differentiating it from background noises, while the two microphones on the earbuds can pick up both vocals and ambient sound, unlike any other earbuds from HUAWEI. A DNN call noise reduction algorithm then processes this, successfully cancelling noise and enhancing vocals to produce clear calls. When accepting calls or listening to music, the HUAWEI Watch Buds also offer ANC to lower background noise and create an immersive experience.
Health & Sports Functionalities
Continuous heart rate, SpO2 4, and sleep monitoring are supported by the HUAWEI Watch Buds smartwatch. The HUAWEI TruSleep technology allows the smartwatch to capture snoring as well as monitor your sleep patterns and health. The fitness and sports technology found in HUAWEI’s long-running series of wearables with AI power is carried over to the HUAWEI Watch Buds. It has 80 Sports Modes, including 10 professional sports modes: outdoor running, indoor running, outdoor walking, indoor walking, outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, rope skipping, elliptical, rowing machines, and free training. Also, users of the Huawei Watch Buds can manually add over 70 sports excluding water sports.
Features
HUAWEI’s self-developed TruSport science-based sports system is linked with the HUAWEI Watch Buds to offer users expert sports evaluations and recommendations. Further features available to users include one-click sharing of fitness logs, a running performance index, a smart running coach, a voice assistant for sports, customizable sports gear, and more. For ease of use and comfort, users can put on an earbud to answer a call without having to tamper with the screen, synchronise text messages from connected devices, and rapidly respond with text messages and emoticons.
