The Nothing Phone (2a) has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display of 1,080×2,412 pixels with an adjustable refresh rate of 120Hz and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The screen supports HDR10+ and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. The screen is flanked by tiny bezels, and a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout houses a 32MP selfie camera. There’s also an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Design
The Nothing Phone (2a) has a compact and boxy design. It keeps up with the brand’s transparent style, which displays internal components such as screws and rubber cables. The device features a circular island with two horizontal cameras. It is encircled by three Glyph LED strips, which allow users to customise the lighting effects on the back of the phone. The LED interface features a new triple light setup, 15 functionalities, and ten new ringtones and notification sounds. The Essential Glyph Notifications feature will help you set lights for specific important contacts or apps. The Glyph Interface can also be used to count down the camera’s shutter or to manage loudness. The phone is IP54-rated dust and water-resistant.
Camera
The Nothing Phone (2a) features a dual camera configuration with two 50-megapixel sensors. The main 50-megapixel sensor features an f/1.88 aperture lens and a 1/1.56-inch size, and it supports both optical and electronic image stabilisation. The secondary 50-megapixel ultrawide-angle sensor has an aperture of f/2.2 and a field of vision of 114 degrees. The smartphone’s front-facing camera boasts a 32-megapixel resolution and an f/2.2 aperture. The device has several functions, including UltraXDR, Motion Capture, Night Mode, Action Mode, and Portrait Optimizer.

The prices of the Nothing Phone (2a) start at $289 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB combination costs $319. The larger 12GB + 256GB configuration costs $339. Users can pre-order it on the e-commerce website Flipkart and on the official website of Nothing. It will be available to ship starting from 12th March.
