The Oppo A56s 5G smartphone is a nice upgrade to the original A56, which was initially introduced by Oppo in October 2021. The Oppo A56s has now been recently unveiled in the market. It features revamped specs and modified features. Let us have a look at the details.

Specifications

A MediaTek Dimensity processor, specifically the 810, paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM power the Oppo A56s. There are two storage options for the device: 128 GB and 256 GB. There is a microSD card slot on the gadget for extra storage. The smartphone has Android 12 OS preloaded with the ColorOS UI on top.

Display & Camera

The 6.56-inch LCD screen on the Oppo A56s 6G sports a waterdrop notch. It has a 90Hz refresh rate and an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612. The A56s includes an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. A 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash are all located on its back panel. This is a very decent offering from a mid-range smartphone.

Features

Other features of the Oppo A56s include a side-facing fingerprint reader, a USB-C connector, a 3.5mm audio jack, a dual SIM slot, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and a USB-C port. This A series Oppo smartphone weighs approximately 186 grams and has a thickness of 7.99mm. The A56s are available in colours including blue and black.

There are two versions available of the Oppo A56s, including 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. Prices for these versions are $292 and $189, respectively. The A56s is available for purchase worldwide on the website JD.com.
