Design
The new Realme 10 will feature a sleek and futuristic look, which is highlighted by the flat and glossy back panel, as well as the near-bezel-less front display. Even though the back is made from polycarbonate, it still gets a variety of interesting colour gradients that make the phone look more premium than it is. On the front, you get a 2.5D Super AMOLED panel, which curves nicely along the sides. The only distinct features from this side are the tiny corner-based punch-hole camera cutout, as well as the thick lip at the bottom of the display.
The display itself is expected to be a 6.4-inch FHD+ unit with a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz and 400nits of peak brightness. It also comes with support for Always On Display, which is bound to use a bit more battery than expected. Hopefully, they will provide at least 5000mAh of 33W fast charging battery to help you cover the same. The setup will be rounded off with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, as well as a pair of speakers that have been tuned for optimal performance.
Specs
On the inside, the Realme 10 is expected to feature the latest Mediatek Helio G99 processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and at least 128GB of storage. While we expect there to be a low RAM model, we are hoping that the storage won't dip before the 100GB mark. This setup is expected to run Android 12 from launch, with the Realme UI 3.0 on top. This combo should be enough to handle most of your daily performance requirements.
Other additions include the updated dual camera setup on the rear, which is expected to come with a new 50MP main camera as another 2MP unit for either macro photography or depth sensing. Rumours suggest that there might even be a special zooming mechanism that will enable up to 20X digital zoom with this setup. On the front, you will get a more basic 16MP selfie shooter. Both of these are capable of shooting videos of up to 1080p resolution.
Another leak worth mentioning is the inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack alongside the USB-C port. As well as a MicroSD card slot, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, WIFI, and USB OTG support. Despite all this, the phone will weigh barely 178 grams, which is a nice feat for a model that doesn't exactly break the budget.
Price & Availability
The Realme 10 is expected to be officially launched on the 11th of November. It will be available in Clash White and Rush Black colour options. You will also get a chance to pick between a 4GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB version, with the starting price expected to be around $250 and $300, respectively. Only time will tell if any of these predictions come true, so stay tuned.
