Design
The V27e features a very similar design theme as the other models in the series, with a sleek and slim body that is made out of sturdy but premium plastic. The frame is also made of the same material and helps reduce the overall weight of the device, despite the large display and battery. The rear panel features a minimalist look, with a unique feathery design that is engraved into the panel.
The panel does not change colours, but the design does shimmer under direct sunlight. You can get the smartphone in Lavender Purple, Glory black and Lively Green colour options, which offer their own unique look in contrast to the engraving. There is also a special Aura mini ring light that replaces the flash and offers various LED lighting functionalities. Just like the back panel, the sides and the front panels are also flat, with slightly curved corners to make it easier to hold.
Specifications
On the front, you get a brand new 6.62-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and great colour reproduction. The panel also features a 120Hz refresh rate, which makes it feel a lot faster and smoother in day-to-day usage. The system is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, which can be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
The system itself runs on the latest Android 13 operating system, which features a special skin on top that is based on FuntouchOS 13. The package is rounded off by a pair of stereo speakers that are decently loud and offers great sound while still maintaining a modest IP54 dust and splash resistance. Everything is run off of a 4600mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging.
Cameras
Just like most other budget smartphones these days, you get a varied and versatile camera array that features three sensors in the rear and a single selfie unit in the front. The rear setup features a 64MP main sensor that is supported by a 2MP macro camera and another 2MP depth sensor. The selfie unit features a 32MP unit which offers decent performance in good lighting conditions.
There are plenty of software apps and camera modes to play with, which include dozens of proprietary Vivo technologies for image and video enhancement. But the performance will still be heavily affected by the ambient lighting conditions since this is still a budget smartphone.
