Design
The X series has adopted a refined yet over-the-top design language that features a smooth matte finish paired with a massive camera module that takes up almost half the space of the back panel. The soft-touch finish is made to inspire the feel of holding a proper DSLR, while the camera module uses actual Zeiss optics to enhance the photography experience. You will obviously get a near-bezel-less front display, which will feature a QHD+ resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. You can certainly expect it to be an LTPO AMOLED panel with support for the latest HDR technologies.
Internals
On the inside, the phone will feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. This is the second smartphone that is rumoured to carry the yet-to-be-announced processor, which will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Rumours are that there will also be a separate variant that will host the Dimensity 9200 SOC, another chipset that is expected to take the performance game to the next level.
In addition to all this hardware, the company is also expected to introduce their V2 image signal processor custom processor, which will enable all sorts of AI enhancements for both photo and video capture. Depending on the model in question, this Vivo silicon will be paired with various camera modules, including but not limited to a new 1-inch main sensor, which will be paired with another ultra-wide lens and at least one 64MP telephoto setup with 5x optical zoom. The whole setup will be powered by a 5000mAh battery that is expected to support at least 100W wired fast charging.
