Design

The 6.55-inch IPS LCD screen on the Vivo Y55s 5G sports a teardrop notch, similar to the Vivo S16 series. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.6 percent, a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, and a 96 percent NTSC colour gamut. A fingerprint sensor is built into the power button on the right side of the device.

The Vivo Y55s 5G is powered by the Dimensity 700 chipset. It is available in versions with 4 GB and 6 GB RAM, both of which have 128 GB of native storage. A 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging capabilities is present in this Vivo smartphone. The Vivo Y55s 5G is powered with the FunTouch OS 12-based Android 12 OS, which comes preloaded with the smartphone.

Features

This Vivo smartphone features an 8 MP selfie camera on the front. A 50 MP primary camera, a 2 MP portrait lens, and an LED flash are all featured on the back panel. The smartphone can record 1080p video at 30 or 60 frames per second on both the front camera and the rear camera. Along with dual SIM compatibility, 5G, dual SIM and dual-band Wi-Fi, the Vivo Y55s 5G also has Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, a USB-C connector, and a 3.5mm audio jack for plugging in earphones. Galaxy Blue and Star Black are the available colours for this smartphone.

The 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage option of the Vivo Y55s 5G costs $264, while the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model costs $280. It is available internationally on Vivo’s official website and on Amazon.
