Design
The Xiaomi 13 has a boxy physical design. The smartphone is IP68-certified water and dust-resistant and contains a square camera module on the back panel. Additionally, it also has a nano-skin technology, which allegedly makes the back panel simpler to clean. The smartphone also has a stereo speaker that has Dolby Atmos tuning on the audio front. The Xiaomi 13 has a 6.36-inch flat screen with an FHD+ resolution.
Specifications
The new Xiaomi 13 has the Qualcomm flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset inside. It also includes 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It has an integrated heat dissipation system for liquid cooling. With support for 67W wired charging, the Xiaomi 13 is powered by a 4,500mAh battery pack. The surge G1 charging protection chip, which supports 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging, is also present in this phone. The MIUI 14-based Android 13 OS comes preinstalled on the Xiaomi 13. The phone also has 5G, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, IR Blaster, and USB-C ports as connectivity options.
Cameras
The triple back cameras in the Xiaomi 13 are made by Leica. The arrangement on the back of the model consists of a 50MP Sony IMX800 sensor with OIS support, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 10MP telephoto lens. A 16MP selfie camera is present on the front. The Leica technology for boosting imaging capabilities is also included with the Xiaomi 13.
Features
The Xiaomi 13 has an AMOLED display, a built-in fingerprint reader, and a punch-hole cutout that is centred. The smartphone supports an HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG and has a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,900 nits of maximum brightness. White, Black, Green, and Light Blue colours are the primary colour options for the Xiaomi 13. However, it is also available in five limited-edition custom colours: Flame Red, Sapphire Blue, Hurricane Yellow, Jungle Green, and Cement Gray.
Price & Availability
There are different variants available for the Xiaomi 13. The prices for them are $574 for 8GB + 128GB, $617 for 8GB + 256GB, $660 for 12GB + 256GB and $718 for 12GB + 512GB. They are now available for pre-orders on the official website of Xiaomi and will go on sale worldwide on the 14th of December.
