With the speed and dependability of an SSD, this new class of drives provides business professionals and content creators with a simple way to swiftly back up and retrieve their high-resolution files, movies, and images in one handy location. An increasing number of digital producers, from pros in photography and video to tech hobbyists, are producing vast volumes of content and require adaptable, high-capacity storage to work more, quickly.

Features

A wide range of storage requirements can be satisfied by the 4TB and 8TB capacities of the SSD, which can hold large photo and video collections, CAD files, 3D renders, AI-generated files, music libraries, and critical documents. Up to four times faster than a desktop HDD, it can read up to 1,000 MB/s, making it possible to access even the most demanding media, such as 8K films, quickly. Whether using Apple Time Machine or the free Acronis True Image for Western Digital backup software, backing up images, movies, and information is effortless with SSD speeds.

Awarded a 2024 Red Dot Design Award, its sleek, contemporary design maximises desk area and blends in with any home or office setting. It is compatible straight out of the box with both Windows® and macOS computers because of the exFAT formatting and the USB Type-C cable that is included.

There is a three-year limited warranty available for both the 4TB and 8TB SanDisk Desk Drives, which retail for AED 1,999 in the UAE (SAR 2,259 in KSA) and AED 3,699 in the UAE (SAR 4,199 in KSA), respectively.
