Specifications
The Tab S9 Plus’s model number, SM-X818U, was recently listed on the internet. The performance and certain important specs were also disclosed. The tablet is intended for the US market, as shown by the model number. It has an octa-core processor with a configuration of 1 + 3 + 4 cores. It is clear that it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with the codename Kamala. The top clock speed, which is higher than what the base Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip has, is what’s intriguing. This virtually guarantees that the tablet’s internal chipset is the exclusive Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy. The Galaxy S23 flagship smartphone range uses the same processor. The smartphone will reportedly ship with a staggering 12GB of RAM and ship pre-installed with the most recent version of the Android operating system, Android 13.
Future Updates
The Samsung flagship tablet performed admirably in the benchmark test, scoring 2049 points on the single-core test and roughly 5492 points on the multi-core test. While this is a commendable effort, it remains to be seen if the tablet can maintain this level of performance over time. It will also be interesting to see how the device can handle difficult jobs with this extra computing power.
