Display & Design
As mentioned above, the Smart Screen V lineup features multiple models ranging from 65 to 75 inches in screen size. The panels are housed in a slim and sturdy body, which feels pretty lightweight despite its size, thanks to even weight distribution and the use of sturdy materials. There are little-to-no bezels around the display, with the only visible protrusion being the bottom bar, which also houses the extensive sound setup. The IO is hidden behind the display, with many connectivity options, such as multiple HDMI ports, a USB A port, and an ethernet port.
The display itself is an amazing 4K 120Hz panel, which features a 16:9 aspect ratio and supports up to 92% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. It can reach a peak brightness of up to 900nits, with 500nits being standard across the display. You can even manually calibrate the image quality and colour output depending on your personal preference. To make the setup even more versatile, the company has even included a special 12MP magnetic AI camera, which can be used for conference calls and other smart use cases.
Internals
All of this is powered by an 8-core CPU and 6-core GPU, which is further supported by a 4T NPU. This setup is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, making this one of the most powerful Smart TVs out there. Users can use this setup to run all sorts of streaming apps, mobile games, and any other service supported by Huawei's smart device lineup. Speaking of smart devices, users can also connect the TV to other smart home appliances using WIFI and Bluetooth, with in-built voice controls for easy access. Everything is run on HarmonyOS so you can expect consistent updates and decent performance.
The setup is rounded off with the inclusion of a special Huawei Sound acoustic system that was developed in collaboration with Devialet. It features a 6-driver setup that can produce an output of up to 50W. This includes two left and right channels and dual ultra-thin sub-woofers spread across the bottom bar. There is even an additional 2.1-channel setup to deliver a truly immersive listening experience.
