Design
The G70S features a pretty minimalist design, with a razor-thin display mounted on top of a metallic base and dual-pronged stands. There are absolutely minute bezels on the top and the sides, with only the bottom one featuring some heft and width; that too just to help support the weight of the display and showcase the brand's logo. The rear is pretty bare-bones as well, with the exception of the IO, which still features a decent variety. You get the usual HDMI ports, a USB 3.0 port, an RF port, an AV port, a SPDIF port, and even an RJ45 ethernet port. There are in-built grooves for mounting it on a wall, but you would have to look for a fairly large one to do that, considering the massive 70-inch display size.
Display
Even beyond the size, the display itself is the real highlight of the model, featuring a 10-bit panel with amazing colour depth and up to 92% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. While the display runs on 60Hz only, it does feature MEMC for motion compensation. You can further tune the picture quality to match your content through the extensive picture and sound menu, which offers lots of options for manual calibration. Just make sure you sit back a bit because the absolutely massive 70-inch 4K display can easily overwhelm your vision and cause eye strain if not viewed properly.
Internals
The whole setup is powered by a quad-core processor with dual-core A72 and dual-core A53 chips, which are paired with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. This should be more than enough to run all sorts of apps, basic games, and high-quality movies and TV shows from your favourite streaming services. Even if you don't find anything worth watching, you can always connect your smartphone or computer for more usability. All of this and more are controlled via a lightweight and simple remote, which also features far-field voice control.
Price & Availability
Currently, the LeTV Super TV G70S is available for sale in China at a starting price of around $385. The brand is expected to launch in the international market sometime soon. If you want to get it directly from China, you can either visit the brand website or go through the popular JD platform.
