Design
The Liberty 3 Pro’s wingtips are robust and wedge themselves deep into the folds of the wearer’s ears, and Soundcore offers an excellent selection of 4 sizes of both wingtips and ear tips. In addition, it retains its predecessor’s coolest feature, a sliding lid on the wireless charging case where the mechanism lets you single-handedly slide the lid open and closed. When the lid slides open, one is treated to an LED light show of sorts.
Features
The touch controls on these come with full freedom, and a user can pick each function and each gesture, including the one for the volume – this takes customizability to a whole new level. Users can also choose if they want the wear sensors to auto-pause their music when they remove an earbud or not. Each earbud on the Liberty 3 Pro can be used independently for both calls and music. Moreover, one can pair the Liberty 3 Pro to two devices simultaneously – an incredible feature for those who keep switching between their computer and phones all the time. They also come with an IPX4 rating for water resistance, so rain and sweat will not damage them at all.
Sound
The Liberty 3 Pro delivers a beautifully bold sound owing to its dual-driver architecture, which is designed to pair a dynamic driver with a balanced armature driver to work through all genres like a charm. In addition, they come with a unique HearID feature that has been designed to personalize the earbuds to every user’s specific hearing profile. The ANC is an excellent addition to this set of truly wireless earbuds, but there is a small amount of hiss when no music is being played. The Transparency mode on these, however, is quite effective, especially when the vocal mode option is turned on.
Performance
The Liberty 3 Pro has multiple mics, and they do an incredible job of capturing the user’s voice for calls. Moreover, the callers are not exposed to loud sounds of the user’s background sounds because the environmental noise-cancelling on these is simply excellent. It can deliver around six hours of usage on a single charge, and this becomes 24 hours if the charging case is fully charged too, and this is with the ANC on. This changes to 8 hours and 32 hours, respectively, without ANC. Those are incredible numbers and beat some of the best earbuds on the market. Moreover, just a 15-minute fast charge in the case gets the user an additional three hours of playback time, which is quite impressive.
