Design
The Kitty V2 Pro features the same signature design representing the Kraken lineup, with two massive earpieces hanging from a wide, well-cushioned headband. The cushioning in the headband is only located in the centre, while the sides feature a plastic cover on both sides. The ear cups feature a hybrid fabric that is breathable and friction resistant, so your ears remain soft and dry. It features a thick leatherette cushioning so you can wear the headsets for long periods of time. The cups are large enough that you get a nice seal for proper noise isolation, even without active noise cancellation.
The cups feature a vent-shaped design on the outside, with an illuminated Razer logo in the centre. The USB-A wire is located on the left side, which also features a detachable Razer HyperClear cardioid microphone for quick voice recording functionality. But the real highlight of the design is the addition of detachable animal ears that stick on top and make up the whole appeal of the device. You get the option to pick between kitty, bear, and bunny ears, all of which are available for free with the purchase.
Chroma RGB Lighting
The logo on the side and the animal ears both feature support for Razer Chroma RGB lighting. You can easily change the light colour and pattern using the Razer Synapse 3 application. These lights can not only be synced to the music you are listening to, but they can also be adapted to real-time stream events, such as when someone sends you a super chat, or you reach a specific milestone. This way, you can set unique lighting effects for various scenarios to make your live streams that much more unique and exciting.
These specific stream settings can be set through the special Streamer companion app, which can run alongside the Synapse 3 application. You can choose between one of the 16.8 million colours available to users at the click of a button. Even when you are not on your system, you can still use the lighting effects as long as the headset is plugged into a power bank. This way, streamers can take them to events where they become part of the show.

Even outside of the obvious lighting gimmick, the Razer Kraken Kitty V2 Pro gaming headsets are a great choice for music lovers.
