Specifications
The Sony V1 chip, which is the same MediaTek MT2822-based CPU featured in the company’s flagship Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones and Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds, is supposed to provide noise cancelling. The headphones will also come with the improvements of adding support for Bluetooth 5.2 and Multipoint networking as its primary new specs, adding it to the premium line of headphones from Sony.

The new, lighter WH-weigh CH720N’s just 192g as opposed to the WH-223g, CH710N’s suggesting that improvements have also been made in terms of comfort. Despite what the images seem to be more padding behind the headband and around the earcups, there has been a weight drop. With noise cancellation turned on, battery life is similar to that of the WH-CH710N models at about 35 hours.
Price & Availability
The leak did not provide a release date, but it did include a price of $160. With the leaks coming out now, we can expect the launch to happen soon, along with the other upcoming exciting launches from Sony.
