Fire TV Omni
These new 4K QLED models are available in 65-inch and 75-inch sizes and feature the latest Quantum Dot technology. They also come with support for all sorts of HDR content, including HDR10 Plus, HLG, Dolby Vision IQ, and HDR10 Plus Adaptive. While the refresh rate maxes out are just 60Hz, the display still features a variable refresh rate for increased power efficiency, alongside auto low latency mode.
The models also feature a full-array local dimming setup, with up to 96 individual dimming zones. This system is aided by special ambient light sensors, which allow the TV to automatically adjust the brightness of the content based on ambient lighting conditions. In addition to all this, you get a full complement of connectivity options, including HMDI 2.1 for true 4K output.
Alexa Hands Free Experience
The Amazon Firestick is a go-to product for people who want a proper smart TV experience, and the brand has baked in all of its capabilities into these new smart TV models—starting with the inclusion of built-in far-field microphones that allow you to control all the functions through Alexa voice commands. Since the software is the same as the popular streaming device, you can easily set up all your favourite streaming services and entertainment apps to get instant access to a variety of movies, Tv shows and even video games.
Amazon Ambient Experience
Taking the concept of hands-free entertainment to the next level, the Fire TV Omni QLED Series features Amazon’s specialized Ambient Experience. This system works with the help of in-built motion sensors, which let it know when you have entered the room. It then automatically taps into your existing Alexa Routines and optimizes all your connected smart home devices to fit your personal preferences. This can include turning the lights on, setting the AC to a specific temperature, playing your favourite music, and much more.
Furthermore, it then displays all sorts of useful information on the display, including but not limited to Alexa Widgets, playback options, a slideshow of your personal photo libraries, recommended content, and more. There is even a special Artwork Mode, which displays a rotating art collection made up of over 1500 gallery-quality pieces, all of which are available free of cost. Since all of these things are initiated thanks to the motion detection sensors automatically, they are also turned off automatically once you leave the room. Thus, making it a truly hands-free entertainment experience.
