The MINISFORUM UM790 Pro includes an integrated, straightforward metal body that improves thermal performance and increases durability. Long-lasting cooling and reliable operation are also provided by large heat sinks and silent fans. The UM790 Pro uses a cutting-edge thermal design that includes liquid metal and active cooling for SSD and RAM. Due to Cold Wave 2.0’s improved thermal performance and reduced noise level, the UM790 Pro can fully utilise its processor, memory, and SSD to provide outstanding performance. It may be positioned behind a monitor or TV to free up desk space and supports VESA installation for monitors. It also supports wall mounting.

The MINISFORUM UM790 Mini PC includes two M.2 2280 slots, one M.2 2230 slot for a modem, and two SO-DIMM slots in the UM790 Pro. Additionally, the mini-PC offers four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A connections, a 3.5 mm jack, two HDMI and USB4 connectors for each port, as well as 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet. Its graphical BIOS is cutting-edge, intuitive, and user-friendly. The graphical BIOS has a user-friendly configuration interface compared to the conventional BIOS. Additionally, it provides more complete options and safe configuration administration. In comparison to an average desktop computer, it frees approximately 40 times more space.

There are different variations available for the MINISFORUM UM790 Mini PC. The Barebones edition retails for $519. The 16 GB RAM/512 GB SSD, 32 GB RAM/512 GB SSD, 32 GB RAM/1 TB SSD, and the 64 GB RAM/1 TB SSD are priced at $619, $669, $699 and $789 respectively. Additionally, all editions other than the Barebones edition come with a Windows 11 Pro licence. The MINISFORUM notes that these are early bird rates, albeit it does not state when these rates will go up. In any case, the AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS, an 8-core, 16-thread APU with a Radeon 780M iGPU and a 35 W TGP, ships with all configurations. The UM790 Pro is available for purchase on MINISFORUM’s website.
