Design
These two newly launched models are the luxury versions of their latest Z series Fold & Flip models, featuring a special finish and look. Both models are updated with special gold-plated hinges and edges, which are lighter and stronger than the original versions. They are also thinner and more flexible, thanks to a high-end watch metal precision cutting process that retains strength while minimizing heft.
They have treated the surface with a nano-level polishing finish that protects them from the elements while, at the same time, adding a unique texture with an embossed metal pattern. Even the rear panel has been covered with a dark matte black coating which hosts a special logo that reads, 'Heart to the World'.
Internals
In addition to the design and aesthetic upgrades, the new phones also feature upgraded internals, which now has more RAM and storage for users. You can pair the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with up to 16GB RAM in the W23 and up to 12GB in the W23 Flip. Both phones feature a 512GB storage capacity by default. The phones also feature a 4400mAh and 3700mAh capacity battery, respectively. The rest of the internals and software settings remain the same so that customers don't miss out on any vital features.
Price & Availability
These custom luxury variants are priced at around $2207 for the W23 5G and around $1379 for the W23 Flip. They are open for pre-orders and can be reserved and bought from Samsung's official website from the 28th of October.
