Specifications
The new a9 Gen 6 CPU, which supports AI upscaling, HDR tone mapping, and object-based picture sharpening is used by the 8K compatible G3, C3, and Z3 TV models of LG. The processor also plays a crucial role in AI audio processing, which produces 9.1.2-channel surround sound through the built-in speakers.
Features
With just two pages of app content, the webOS 23 platform that powers the LG 2023 OLED TVs requires substantially less scrolling. Additionally, the users will notice fewer categories, and quick cards will guide them to sections like music and sports. Personal profiles, adaptable, quick settings, and AI-based search phrase suggestions personalise the service to personal preferences. Matter support should ensure that the TV set is also compatible with other smart home devices.
Model Upgrades
With 77- and 88-inch 8K screens, the Z3 model is the flagship, but the G3’s zero-gap design makes it more suitable for wall installation. It comes in sizes ranging from 55 inches to an enormous 97 inches, but the increased brightness of 70% can only be noticed on the 55, 65, and 77-inch models. The sweet-spot C3 line spans 42 inches to 83 inches, but it is equipped with the conventional brightness enhancer.
