The ViewSonic TD2760 comes in a single colour – black. It is relatively heavy with the gross weight being 10.2 Kg, and the monitor alone weighs 7.9kgs. Without the stand, it is approximately 5.5kgs. The ViewSonic TD2760 comes with a sturdy dual-hinge VESA stand design that allows the swift adjustment and tilting of the screen with absolutely no stiffness and maximises overall comfort. Additionally, the monitor has the option of using it as a wall-mounted display.
For us, one of the striking features that it has is the intuitive 10-point multi-touch display with a Full HD resolution of 1080p at 60Hz, which greatly enhances its utility. The 27” LCD display exhibits the following dimensions – 26.0 (W) x 16.2 (H) x 2.3(D) inches and with the stand that becomes – 26.0 (W) x 17.5(H) x 9.4(D) inches. The build material is fairly tough and checks out well on most of the style and trend aspects, except for the bezel part, which is relatively thick.

Coming to the display and performance, this monitor definitely does not disappoint. The TD2760 retains a static contrast ratio of 3,000:1 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000,000:1 showcasing brightness levels of 230 cd/m2. According to the ViewSonic, the screen delivers 30,000 hours of backlight life, maintaining 16.7m colours throughout. We feel this makes it ideal for entertainment, office work, and commercial use as well to be labelled as an all-rounder without a doubt. We say this keeping in mind that the compatibility factor of the monitor is quite flexible as it works smoothly with multiple operating systems such as Windows 10, Linux, Chrome, and Android.
The ViewSonic TD2760 features SuperClear MVA Panel Technology that guarantees perfect and lively colours with maximum brightness. We felt that the image quality of the monitor remains uncompromised from all angles – top, bottom, front or even side-viewing doesn’t really hamper the image quality as such. Moreover, it comes with Flicker-Free Technology and Blue Light Filter that significantly increases the viewing comfort further by eliminating any eyestrain. Talking about the audio, this thick slate is equipped with Dual Integrated speakers that provide stereo-quality sound effects that certainly gave us some immersive multimedia experiences to appreciate during our usage.
Connectivity
This monitor offers top-notch versatility when it comes to connectivity. The built-in connectivity options include VGA ports, DisplayPort, 2 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 downstream (Type A), USB 3.1 Gen 1 upstream (Type B), Audio line-in (mini-jack), Headphones (mini-jack) and an HDMI port. The monitor also gave us the ability to control multiple devices such as set up boxes, and DVD players' sound systems amongst others with its RS232 port and HDMI CEC functionality.
Verdict
All in all, the ViewSonic TD2760 multi-touch screen monitor is highly beneficial for commercial usage but can also definitely be used in creative art designs as one can even use a stylus on this one. It can surely find a place in the education sector as well since it can be used as an interactive panel for students. Perhaps if this monitor had been offered a slightly higher resolution than the Full 1920 x 1080 HD at 60Hz that it currently does, it could also be made for a great interactive gaming monitor.
Overall, the ViewSonic TD2760 is a reasonable multi-touch screen monitor for the price of AED 2425. Moreover, with Energy Star Certification, the monitor promises lower power consumption when compared to other similar models of different brands, making it a lot more eco-friendly than them, too.
