The JBL Pulse 5 speaker weighs 1.49 kg and has dimensions of around 8.5 x 4.2 x 5.2 inches. It’s made to resemble a digital candle, which is unique by the standards of JBL speakers. The majority of the speaker’s body is covered in LEDs, some of which can even be synchronised with the music. Even different animations can be displayed.
Sound Quality
The JBL Pulse 5 has a 2.5-inch 30W woofer and a 0.6-inch 10 W 16 mm tweeter for audio. The frequency range of the dual drivers’ mono audio output is 58Hz to 20KHz. It is powered by a lithium-ion battery with a 7,500mAh capacity that is said to provide up to 12 hours of playback time and can be fully recharged in only 4 hours.
Connectivity
With Bluetooth 5.3, the JBL Pulse 5 can pair two smartphones or tablets at once. SBC codec is supported, but higher fidelity codecs like AAC or AptX aren’t available. Due to its IP67 dustproof and waterproof classification, it is perfect for outdoor gatherings and similar events.
