Design
While the LOQ 16 models are bulkier at 5.7 pounds, the smaller LOQ 15 models come off as a bit chunkier and are slightly heavier than Lenovo’s 5.3-pound advertised weight. Lenovo has incorporated a full HD webcam and an electronic shutter switch to turn it off in even their low-cost gaming laptops. These models have an aluminium frame in either storm grey or glacier white hues.
Specifications
The LOQ range of laptops have a 2,560 x 1,600 240Hz screen, as well as Intel Core i9-13900H or Ryzen 9 79040HS processors. Together with a large 99.9 WHr battery, users can also choose to add optional per-key RGB lighting. When equipped with an Nvidia GPU, each of the LOQ laptops have a MUX switch to better manage graphics switching using Nvidia Advanced Optimus. This entails that the laptop can switch back to the energy-efficient iGPU for longer battery life when unplugged and activate the Nvidia GPU while playing games or performing other graphically intensive tasks.
Features
A single USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 at 10 Gbps port, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, an RJ45 Ethernet socket, and a headset jack are all included in the port choices of the LOQ laptop range from Lenovo. The AMD model includes a USB-A 2.0 at 480 Mbps port, whilst the Intel version features an additional USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 at 5 Gbps port.
