The Snapdragon 7c Plus Gen 3 CPU powers the 14-inch IPS display in the new Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Go notebooks. Although the laptop’s 5G version utilises the same chipset as the Book2 Go, it offers dual SIM connectivity. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Plus Gen 3 sports an Adreno GPU in addition to four ARM Cortex-A78 CPU cores and four Cortex-A55 CPU cores. The Galaxy Book2 Go 5G’s modem supports 5G at frequencies below 6GHz, and both models have a 42.3 Wh battery, which is very impressive compared to a similar range of laptops.
Features
A MicroSD slot and a variety of USB-A and USB-C connections are available on devices in the Galaxy Book 2 Go range. Any of the laptop’s USB-C ports can be used to recharge the 5G version at up to 45W. The Galaxy Book 2 Go 5G has larger RAM and storage capacities than the base model, which has a configuration of 5GB/ 128GB RAM/ storage. The models’ memory components cannot be upgraded or replaced. This feature will be available in the upcoming models in the Galaxy Book range of laptops.
Price & Availability
The 4GB/128GB 5G laptop costs $798, while the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Go retails for $613. The Book 2 Go 5G costs $921, an 8GB/256GB RAM/storage combination. All these laptops will be available online on Samsung’s official website and in offline stores of Samsung in a few countries at first. It is expected that after the initial few weeks of launch, they will make their way into the entire international market.
