Google Pixel 7A New Leaks

With An Upgraded Camera System

Google I/O 2023 is slated to take place on May 10. At the opening keynote, the search giant is anticipated to reveal the Pixel 7a. Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet are also likely to be released with it. Although the specified date is still a week away, we already know almost everything about these products. Even more information about the Pixel 7a is now becoming available online.

Design

The form factor of the incoming Pixel 7a will be nearly identical to that of the Pixel 6a, despite having been updated to match the mainline Pixel 7 series. Considering that it will still have the 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display but with an improved 90Hz refresh rate.

Camera & Specifications

The Pixel 7a will have an improved camera setup. A 64MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide sensor will be the focal points of the back dual camera arrangement. It will have another 13MP camera on the front. Real Tone for skin tones and Super Res Zoom (up to 8x) are supported by these cameras. It will include a Tensor G2 chipset inside, enable wired 18W charging, and have an IP67 classification for dust and water protection. It will additionally feature wireless charging.

Features

All of the standard software features, including call screening, crystal-clear audio, photo unblur, magic eraser, night vision, and VPN by Google One, will be included with the Pixel 7a. The smartphone will come in three colours: Coral, Cotton, Arctic Blue, and Carbon. Only a Quick Switch adaptor, a 1m USB Type-C to Type-C cable, and a SIM card tool will be included in the box. So, users will need to purchase the charger separately.

Price

Price estimates for the Pixel 7a are below $500. There are no concrete details about its availability yet.
