Honor 90
In comparison to the Snapdragon 782G that powered the Honor 80, Honor has upgraded the Honor 90 with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. Although Xiaomi already provides the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 in the Redmi Note 12 Turbo and POCO F5, Qualcomm has updated the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 with a more potent version. In addition to the midrange chipset, Honor offers 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM. Like the Honor 90 Pro, the Honor 90 boasts a sizable display with a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel that has a resolution of 2,664 x 1,200 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits. The Honor 90 has a 200 MP main camera along with 50 MP front-facing, 12 MP ultra-wide-angle, and 2 MP depth cameras.
Additionally, the Honor 90 has a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh and supports cable charging at 66 W, which is 28 W less than the Honor 90 Pro. The Honor 90 comes with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage out of the box and is offered in four different hues.
Honor 90 Pro
Peak brightness has increased on Honor 90 Pro from 1,000 nits to 1,600 nits, but only under specified conditions. For comparison, the Honor 90 Pro retains the 50 MP and 2 MP front-facing cameras from its predecessor, hidden behind a pill-shaped display cut out. On the other hand, Honor has added a brand-new pair of rear-facing cameras, including a primary camera that has a 200 MP and 1/1.4-inch sensor. Additionally, the Honor 90 Pro forgoes the 50 MP ultra-wide-angle and 2 MP depth sensors included in the Honor 80 Pro in favour of 12 MP ultra-wide-angle (112° FoV) and 32 MP telephoto (2.5x optical/OIS) cameras. Additionally, the battery capacity has increased from 4,800 mAh to 5,000 mAh, and 90 W wired charging is now promoted.
