Design
The HONOR Magic 5 Ultimate Edition is equipped with a 6.81-inch quad-curved OLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. It has HDR10+ compatibility and is IMAX Enhanced certified. The top left corner of the smartphone has a pill-shaped cut-out, while the centre of the back panel has a protruding camera module. Like the Find X series from OPPO, the panel also extends vertically from below the camera island. Moreover, the smartphone is also IP68 dust and water-resistant.
Camera
The HONOR Magic 5 Ultimate Edition features three back cameras for photography. A 50MP primary sensor, 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto unit with a 100x digital zoom are included in the configuration. There is a 12MP camera and a 3D depth camera on the front. Both the front and back cameras can record 4K video.
Specifications
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor is used in the HONOR Magic 5 Ultimate Edition, the same as in the other models in the HONOR Magic series. It has 512GB of internal storage and 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The brand’s RF enhancement chip, security chip, and display chip are also included in the smartphone. A 5,450mAh battery unit that supports 66W conventional and 50W wireless charging powers the smartphone.

The Magic 5 Ultimate Edition makes use of a silicon carbon anode battery called a Qinghai Lake battery cell, which has a 12.8% higher energy density than lithium batteries. The HONOR Magic 5 Ultimate Edition’s operating system is Magic UI 7.1, which is based on Android 13. The smartphone has 5G, WiFi-6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C, and an NFC port as connectivity options. Elegant Black and Blazing Orange are the available colours in this smartphone.

The HONOR Magic 5 Ultimate Edition costs $965. It is already available for pre-order on HONOR’s official website, and sales will start on March 10.
