The next iQOO Neo 8 series‘ design has been revealed in a video that has been posted by iQOO. The phones’ curved back panels will remain, and the model that was shown off has a red vegan leather back panel. A sizable 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution is also anticipated for the Neo 8 Pro.
The Neo 8 5G’s dual cameras and LED flash are housed in a rectangular camera module with two circular cutouts that are located on the rear. The Neo 8 will have optical image stabilisation, according to the camera module documentation. This smartphone will include a triple-camera setup on the back, with a 50MP primary sensor at its centre. The source, however, has not revealed the details of the other two sensors. Moreover, a 16MP front-facing camera will be included.
The Neo 8 Pro will come with the recently unveiled MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ System-on-Chip (SoC), which is constructed using a 4nm process and has a maximum clock speed of 3.35GHz. In order to enhance the smartphone’s camera, performance, and display, Vivo’s V1+ chip will also be used. iQOO intends to make the Neo 8 Pro an all-arounder rather than just a gaming-focused tablet with the addition of the V1+ ISP processor.
It is also indicated that a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 System-on-Chip (SoC) will be included with the Neo 8 5G. A 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution and 2160Hz PWM dimming technology is also anticipated for the device.
The iQOO Neo 8 Pro is most likely to be introduced with 256GB or 512GB of storage and up to 16GB of RAM. The smartphone has also managed to achieve more than 1.3 million points in the benchmark, which further proves that it will be a powerful gaming machine. The phone has a 5000mAh battery and comes pre-equipped with 120W fast charging. The Neo 8 Pro will be powered by Android 13 with Origin OS 3 installed on top.
It is expected that iQOO Neo 8 series will be launching very soon in the upcoming months. It will be available on the official website of iQOO and on some e-commerce websites.
