The Kaitian N8 Series laptop uses a 14.6mm, all-metal, space grey body that was produced utilising a CNC finishing method. The laptop only has a 1.29kg weight. It features a 14-inch IPS HD display with a 91% screen ratio and a resolution of 2240 x 1400 pixels. The monitor provides a 100% sRGB colour gamut, anti-glare eye protection, and no strobe. The laptop can also be opened 180 degrees so that it can be used as a tablet.
Specifications
The processor in the new notebook is arguably its most intriguing component because it is made by Zhaoxin, a semiconductor company headquartered in China. The Kaixian KX-6000 CPU has eight cores and a maximum clock speed of 2.7GHz. It is an octa-core chip made using 16nm technology. The processor is paired with 512GB NVMe SSD and 16GB dual-channel DDR4 memory. Moreover, it has an inbuilt graphics card that can hard decode 4K video and handle 4K resolution and 4K gaming.
Features
The Lenovo Kaitian N8 has WiFi 6+ and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. A smart backlit keyboard with the same colour anti-fouling coating as the body is also included. The laptop also features a fingerprint reader, hard drive encryption, USB smart protection, and one-key recovery, in addition to its extra-large silky glass touchpad. A battery with 61Wh capacity powers it, which has very similar capabilities to the recent Xiaoxin range from Lenovo.
