Display & Design
The Moto X40 has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with an FHD+ resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate as its primary display. The camera cutout has a punch hole in the centre and curved borders. The display has an embedded fingerprint scanner, 10-bit colours, and HDR capabilities. The Moto X40 sports a compact, rectangular camera module in terms of design. It has IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. It has stereo speakers that have Dolby Atmos tuning for audiophiles. The Moto X40 is available in Tourmarine Blue and Smoky Black.
Cameras
The Moto X40 has three rear cameras for taking pictures. A 50MP main sensor with OIS capability, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens make up the system. A grand 60MP front-facing selfie camera is present. The smartphone has a horizontal lock feature for taking action photos and supports 4K HDR video recording.
Specifications
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset serves as the Moto X40’s engine. It has up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. A three-dimensional liquid cooling system is part of the device. A 4600mAh battery pack that supports 125W conventional and 15W wireless charging powers the smartphone. The device’s operating system is Android 13 OS, with MY UI 5.0 skinned on top. Dual SIM, 5G, WiF 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-frequency GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connector are among the Moto X40’s connectivity features.
Price & Availability
The price of the phone starts at $487 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration. Priced at $530 and $573, respectively, are the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants. The most expensive 12GB + 512GB option costs $617. The Moto X40 is now available through online mode only in some countries. Global availability is expected to follow soon.
