New Logo
As part of its efforts to quicken market expansion, Nokia has launched a new brand identity, which includes an updated logo. Nokia has changed its emblem for the first time in almost 60 years. The word NOKIA is formed by five different shapes in the new logo. The new logo, in contrast to the former blue colour scheme, has a variety of hues depending on its intended purpose.
The Change
The company’s new focus on the market for business technologies is reflected in the change in Nokia’s branding. The company’s top priority has changed from its past connection to smartphones. Nokia now works as a business technology company, and not just as a smartphone brand. Although, they are still active in the phone industry. The term Nokia is only a brand, whereas HMD Global is the company that makes the phones sold under the Nokia name.
Future Goals
Nokia will concentrate on selling equipment to other businesses in addition to expanding its telecom equipment business. They include tools for automated manufacturing and private 5G networks, which would put the business in direct competition with Microsoft and Amazon in the market. Nokia is contemplating expanding and developing in further sectors.
