Platforms
Till now, no platforms for The Witcher 4 have been announced. Releases for the PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC appear to be all but guaranteed because we anticipate CD Projekt Red to utilise current-gen technology.
The Story
Geralt, a monster hunter, was still alive and well after The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine. But the Wild Hunt was over, and his story arc was finished. Although if he most likely won’t be the primary character, that doesn’t mean he won’t appear in this forthcoming Witcher game. We probably cannot call the new sequel The Witcher 4 because the first three Witchers were by definition a trilogy. But this does not imply that we will abandon the universe of The Witcher. Geralt might perhaps appear in some future games.
New Updates
If it is decided that Ciri, the adopted daughter of Geralt, survived The Witcher 3, perhaps we will see her take the helm. The plot might be based on the events of Geralt’s exploits to avoid problems with continuity. After all, Blood Origin is a prequel that takes place 1,000 years before The Witcher’s events. Andrzej Sapkowski, the author of the Witcher books, renewed his contract with the business to further deepen their connection. The studio is therefore free to use any of his short tales or books as sources.
