Xiaomi 12T
The 12T features a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel with a pixel density of 446PPI and a peak brightness of 900nits. It is a 12-bit panel that supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and a variable refresh rate. The whole setup is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The audio aspect is handled by a pair of stereo speakers, which come with support for Dolby Atmos.
On the inside, the smartphone features the Dimensity 8100-Ultra chipset, which is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 Storage. You get all the best connectivity options, such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and dual-SIM 5G. The whole setup is powered by a 5000mAh battery, which supports 120W fast charging capabilities.
On the camera front, you get a 108MP main unit based on Samsung's ISOCELL HM6 sensor. While it comes with a basic pixel size of 0.64µm, it uses a special 9-in-1 binning technology to rack it up to 1.92µm. In addition to the main sensor, you also have an additional 8MP ultra-wide unit with a 120° field of view and a 2MP macro unit to round off the rear setup. In the front, you get a singular 20MP ultrawide selfie camera with a 78° field of view.
Xiaomi 12T Pro
The 12T Pro features the same display as the 12T, with the addition of an in-display fingerprint reader. It also gets an upgraded stereo speaker setup that has been tuned by Harman Kardon. You get the same connectivity features as the other model, along with the same battery and front camera unit.
It is the rear camera where the changes really start to become noticeable. While the secondary sensors are the same, you get a massive bump in the primary unit, including the latest 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP1 sensor. It has a massive 1/1.22” sensor with a 0.64µm pixel size that can be binned to 2.56µm using a special 16-in-1 technology.
On the inside, the processor has also been upgraded to a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The company has increased the vapour chamber's size to handle the flagship processors' added heat output. Compared to last year's model, this translates to a 65% larger cooling area, with up to 125% more thermal material. You can pair the processor with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 Storage.
