Design and Build Quality
The Synk X gaming chair features a slim yet sturdy steel and wood frame, which is covered in high-density memory foam. The subwoofer unit is hidden beneath the seat itself, which also features a retractable leg rest. All of these parts are covered in breathable fabrics, which come in black and grey colour options. You also get the usual plastic armrests and five-spoke roller wheel base.
The frame has a maximum weight capacity of 135kgs and can support a maximum seating angle of up to 135 degrees. There is plenty of under-thigh and lumbar support, along with a curved back design to keep you in place during intense gaming sessions. The headrest is built into the design and not removable, but still offers lots of cushioning for comfort.
Accessibility Features
The chair comes with various physical buttons for vibration and volume controls, as well as an aux-in socket located on the side of the frame. Since these controls are behind the armrest, you can easily control them but not actually see them when sitting. There is also a 5.8G system for wireless connectivity, in addition to basic Bluetooth. All of this and more make it a cross-platform setup that can be easily connected to various devices.
The whole setup is powered by a built-in battery, which can deliver up to 8 hours of non-stop listening. If you switch to the intense bass effect mode, this figure drops down to 4. When fully depleted, you can charge it through a normal power outlet, although it will take up to 6 hours to get a full charge in.
The subwoofer and the haptic outputs work together to create a truly unique seating and gaming experience. Users who are interested in experiencing this setup will have to wait for some time though, as the company has not released any information about the actual price or release date of the Sync X gaming chair.
