Google Chrome Update

Brings Material You Themes To Browsers

All throughout the globe, people rely on and prefer Google Chrome. Every single Android smartphone comes pre-loaded with Chrome web browser by Google. The Current update, like its predecessors, went mostly unreported since it was released in the background.

What is New?

When you launched a new tab in Google Chrome before, all you saw was a plain, grey backdrop. Users were able to customize the tab colours, but it only featured a handful of presets that you could pick from. Google has quietly introduced a new tab style in Chrome that may be customized without anybody seeing it. An alert Reddit user by the handle u/Leopeva644 first noticed this, and they clarified that you can now readily alter Google Chrome to suit your needs.

How To Get This Update?

In order to get this update, your Android device must be running Android 13 or later. Quickly activate this update and begin personalizing Chrome with your preferred background and colour scheme by updating to the latest version of Android.

This software upgrade is available for Macs, Linux, and Windows computers right now. You need just set the Chrome flag to active “chrome://flags/# customise-chrome-colour-extraction.” Open the News Chrome tab, click the pen symbol in the lower right, and then choose a new background from Google's collection. If you change your desktop background in Google Chrome, you'll notice that the toolbar changes colour to match.

Is it Available For Mobile Devices?

This modification has been available on Android 12 since last year. In reality, it was only compatible with Google-powered gadgets. Nonetheless, Google has made the decision to release it to the public with the most recent version of Android (Android 13). This update to Chrome's customizability is now available to everyone.

Most of Google's applications are now available to consumers based on their preferences. This not only improves the app's usability but also increases confidence in its legitimacy. Google has traditionally won over users' affections by giving them the freedom to customize their app experiences.

Unique Feature

There is no cause for alarm if you do not like any of the backgrounds provided by Google Chrome. A custom background may be uploaded, and Google will optimize it for the best viewing. However, it has been observed that the toolbar's colour does not change when the Image of your choosing is uploaded. It's unclear if this is a design flaw on Google's side or a bug.

Worldwide Release

Please note that this update is still in beta and is currently only accessible to a small subset of Bet Version users. However, at this time, there is no evidence to suggest that this update will be made available to the general public.
