Design
The Mini PC PL64 uses a brand-new, nearly silent fanless design that reduces dust entry into the chassis to increase product lifespan. The PL64 is perfect for industrial applications where dependability, durability, and low noise are crucial, thanks to its fanless architecture and 15-watt CPU support. The PL64’s cooling mechanism effectively distributes heat, allowing this mini PC to be used in situations with temperatures as high as 50°C.
Virtual Display
The Mini PC PL64 is the perfect choice for digital signage since it has Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) emulation and maintains a signage format, which ensures that the content being displayed is unaltered even in the case of a brief loss of power or connectivity. Without a linked display, PL64 can also build virtual displays. With the help of virtual display technology, an administrator can control the system from a distance without interfering with the material that is now being presented.
Specifications
The ASUS PL64 has four different types of options for the processors – Intel Celeron 7305 (5 cores), Intel Core i3-1215U (2P cores/4E cores), Intel Core i5-1235U (2P cores/8E cores) and Intel Core i7-1255U (2P cores/8E cores). Users can partition networks and create network redundancy by using two LAN ports. One of the ports can operate at 2.5GBase-T (2.5 G) networking rates for quick online performance.
Dual COM ports can be used to connect legacy equipment like receipt printers or barcode scanners. For a wide range of adaptability, these ports are RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 compliant. Due to an optional built-in module, it can also handle WiFi 6E. This provides rapid WiFi performance in crowded areas, smooth streaming of high-resolution videos, and fewer failed connections even when Mini PC PL64 is far from the router. The module also adds a second high-speed 160 MHz channel to the Mini PC PL64.
